In Vemdalskalet, people live close to both the lifts and the hotel. The size of the apartments vary, they are available with 4, 6 or 8 beds. Some apartments are equipped with a sauna, microwave and dishwasher.

Prices range from 1000 SEK per cottage and upwards for the entire Student Skiweek.

How to go to Vemdalen?

 

Vemdalen is 90 km from Östersund. Stockholm it is about 500 km and travel time is about 5-6 hours with car.

By train and plane you will come to Östersund, to travel the last distance to Vemdalen take a Länstrafiken bus, line 164.

Härjedalingen departs from the City Terminal, Stockholm, to Härjedalen and Vemdalskalet several times a week.

Be an ambassador

 

Want to come to Student Skiweek without paying?

Of course you do! The only thing required from you is a bit of commitment: You may be a so-called Ambassador with access to a range of benefits, depending on how much work you decide to do.

As ambassador, you will help us advertise for Students Skiweek at your college or university. You will do this by for example, putting up posters and recruiting as many Skiweek participants you can because we can’t be everywhere! 

To facilitate your work as much as possible it is our responsibility to provide you with all the material you will need, such as posters, information sheets and a "manual" for what to do to complete it.

Good to know as an Ambassador
As an ambassador there is a great deal of practical information that can be good to know.

A requirement we have is that the ambassadors must first notify us that they wish to be an ambassador. This can’t be done once arrived in Vemdalen.

Ambassadors must also book all the homes in his/her own name. This brings us to see how many people are recruited.

This is a prerequisite for the ambassadors to be able to receive the bonus system.

A tip for all of you, who book more than 20 people, is to pre-book lift tickets at Skistar. You get every 20th lift ticket free.
